HORSHAM AND DISTRICT CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU ....

Horsham and District Citizens Advice Bureau offers free, independent, confidential advice to all members of the community, but particularly aims to help vulnerable people, such as those with disabilities and their carers, elderly, long term sick, those with mental health problems and those who feel they may have been discriminated against for whatever reason.
The bureau also campaigns on social policy issues where groups of people may have suffered as a result of local or national policies.
Horsham CAB now provides outreach services in the District as follows:-
- Monday morning in Henfield as well as a County Court Helpdesk in Horsham every other Monday.
- Tuesday morning in Southwater
- Tuesday afternoon in Storrington
- Wednesday morning in Pulborough – every other week and Billingshurst every third week.
- Friday morning in Roffey at the Millennium hall
The bureau operates a drop-in service for generalist advice and information every day at the main office in Horsham, next to the library, and a late night opening session on Monday evenings by appointment, for those who work full time. Opening hours are 10am – 4pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am – 7pm on Mondays.
Recently, the bureau has extended its Legal Services Commission contract or Legal Aid work in the bureau. They now offer specialised advice to clients who qualify for legal aid, in the areas of Housing, Welfare Benefits and Debt.
